1. Dock Permit valid from May 1st to Oct 15th seasonal.

Fee $75.00 per dock.
3. Docks size will be a maximum of 5’ wide x 30’ length. All other dock size
must be approved by the Committee.
4. Adequate anchor system to be approved by Committee.
SMRID or the 40 Mile Park Committee makes no guarantee as to water level in 40 Mile Reservoir.
5. All dock material including material used for buoyancy to be eco-friendly. (no pressure
treated wood may touch the water).
6. Boat house, covered docks and covered boat lifts NOT permitted.
7. No permanent 110 volt electric power to be permitted on dock structure (12 volt power
is permitted)
8. Dock must be identified by Permit Holder c/w Name and Lot Number. Lettering to be a minimum of 4” in height. (Phone
numbers are not required but suggested for emergency use).
9. All docks to be approved by Dock Committee before permit issue. A compliance review will be done after installation.
10. Renewal Dock Applications from Long Term Lease Holders (longer than 1 year term) will be approved as per the previous
season. These Long Term Lease holders however must make a written application by April 30 of the current year and pay the
appropriate fee. New Dock Applications from Long Term Lease holders will be considered
but must be applied for by April 30 of the current year and the appropriate fee paid. No docks will be permitted on the
reservoir without a written permit signed by the dock committee. An application
does not constitute a permit.
11. Annual Lease Holders who were previously allowed a dock may apply for renewal
during the month of May. Depending on availability it may not be possible to approve these. For the 2010 season no new applications
will be accepted from annual Lease Holders. No docks will be permitted on
the reservoir without a written permit signed by the dock committee. An application
does not constitute a permit.
12. Dock Permit must be renewed yearly and the required fee for that year paid.
13. A lease transfer will not include a dock permit site allocation.
If a permit holder gives up or loses his dock permit for any reason, the site will be re-allocated by the dock committee.
14. All docks and boat lifts to be removed from below dam elevation and stored at an approved above dam
elevation site by October 15th.
15. On the Saturday of the last weekend in September, the Park will make available park equipment to assist
in removal of docks.
16. No equipment is allowed below top of dam for dock removal.
17. All docks must be installed/removed via boat launch.
18. All docks not removed by October 15th annually will then be removed by Park Committee Order. The cost of removal will be paid by dock permit holder at a cost of 110% of all charges. Park will not be responsible for any damage or claim caused by Park Committee Order.
19. Any violation of Dock Policy or violation of boating regulations will be cause for loss of present and
future Dock Permit privileges.
20. There will be a limit of 80 Dock Permits issued.
21. Park Committee encourages multiply dock usage. A maximum of two boats/watercraft etc are allowed for
each dock permit.
22. Dock Permit Holder realizes that from time to time changes will and can be made to Dock Policy by Park
Committee. Such changes will be binding by Dock Permit Holder.
23. Park Committee has final say in accordance to Dock Policy. All
Dock Permits are binding to Lease Lot Holder.
24.
Park Committee has the right to terminate/cancel dock permits at anytime
and at their discretion for any reason.
The above regulations may be changed at any time and without notice by the 40 Mile
Park Committee.
