Although the weather was not the most cooperative during the weekend it did not stop 55 teams of fishermen from the Southern Alberta Walleye Trail.  Thank you to all the people that helped out as boat and fish checkers, they did their job under some pretty nasty conditions.  40 Mile Park hosted the meal on Saturday with many a compliment from the members, as well as non members of S.A.W.T.  The steaks were supplied by Ref’s Homestyle Meats, seasoned with a secret recipe and then barbequed by Mike and Pat Janzer.  This combination made for excellent steak, as all that attended will attest to.  Once again Darlene Emard and her crew prepared everything outside of the steaks.  In her usual fashion she did an excellent job.  Thank you to Henry Kerner and his hard working crew for looking after the thirsty fishermen.
